Well, Thanksgiving was fun. I ended up cooking and going to my moms house. I started cooking on Wednesday night. Let me just say this. From now on, we will be mooching off of our family, because I don’t like cooking and this made it official. For the stuffing, I had to cut tons of celery, onions, mushroom and other stuff. My arm was hurting! It took me almost 2 hours just to cut! Then, I had to grate cheese for the baked macaroni. That was also painful! I made the stuffing, cranberry sauce, and macaroni on Wed night. Then I made the Sangria ham, turkey and greens on Thanksgiving morning. Everything but the stuffing came out okay. *blech* @ my stuffing. The ham was great! I packed the top of the ham with a pound of brown sugar. I let it cook for about 20-3o minutes so it could start to melt. Then I took 2 cups of Sangria wine and 1 cup of pineapple juice and mixed it in a bowl. I then poured a bit over the ham every 30 minutes. Yummmmm.
Shanon was driving me crazy. She watched a Rugrats episode that morning. In the cartoon, they were trying to save a turkey from being eaten. She kept refusing to eat the turkey!
We ate pretty early. 2:30p. That’s early for us! We wanted to get out and get to my moms house though. We had a good time over there. I took a few pictures. Not as many as I wanted to, though.
I just found out that there is a Sims game for GBA (Game Boy Advance) and if you know anything about me, you know I love The Sims and my GBA! It will be out Dec 5 and I have already pre-ordered it.
